Eligibility

Applicant must identify as underserved or be from an underrepresented community

Applicant must align with the PSV mission

Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have secured admission to a participating private school

Applicants must demonstrate financial need

Applicants must be well versed in the PSV mission and if selected, commit to participating in PSV activities, programs and events

Application Timeline

For renewal families: Applications open January 16 and close February 5, 2024

For new applicant families: Applications open January 16 and close February 16, 2024

Scholarship award notification: Amounts awarded will be informed and verified after schools disseminate their acceptance letters and financial aid packages

Selection Process

PSV partnered with a third-party agency AWA Consults, for the design, evaluation and awarding process to ensure privacy, objectivity and transparency when reviewing and selecting candidates. We have also engaged Researcher, Writer and Wealth Activist Chloe B. McKenzie to ensure an equitable process. Applicants shall be selected according to a combination of financial need, completed application and interview, and alignment with PSV’s values.
Award Details

Roughly 4 scholarships for up to $10,000 each to cover partial tuition (pilot year)

Disbursement will be made directly to the school and at the discretion of the family
