About The Event

On Feburary 4 at 8 pm, join us for a short pre-Expo virtual information session with PSV Director of Post-Secondary Partnerships Yetunde Daniels Rubinstein so that you can make the most of the 25th Annual Los Angeles Black College Expo brought to you by the National College Resources Foundation on Febuary 10, 10 am - 5 pm at the Los Angeles Convention Center. If you join us on Febuary 4, you will receive (2) free PSV-sponsored tickets for one student and one adult to attend the Expo on their own.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with representatives from a variety of historically black colleges and universities, as well as other educational institutions. Discover scholarship opportunities, explore academic programs, and get all your questions answered.

Frequently asked questions (from Black College Expo)

What to bring: At least 10 copies of your transcripts because if you are a 12th grader or college transfer student, you can get accepted on the spot. Some colleges will accept 11th graders on the spot!

Should I bring my ACT and SAT scores: Yes, if you have them, however many schools will accept you without ACT/SAT scores. However, for scholarships most colleges would like to see that you have taken either the ACT or SAT.

Are you giving away scholarships: Yes we have an essay contest to win a scholarship, where you write a 500-word or less essay on "Why is a College Education Important to Me". The deadline to enter is two weeks before the expo. Colleges also give scholarships away on-site, and we also give on the Spot Scholarships with our partner SDCOE.
