Stock Market Simulation - Waitlist Only/See Aug 29 Date (10-13 Years Old)

This is a fun, interactive lesson that introduces students to the stock market through a team-based, game-like simulation. Students that are naturally interested in investing or how the stock market works have the best experience in this class. To play the game, I will divide the class into two teams. Each team is responsible for managing a portfolio of investments. Over a five-year time frame, the teams will make investment decisions with a goal to have a profitable portfolio at the end of the five years. Each student will have multiple opportunities to hold, buy or sell their stock. The data used in this game includes actual stock prices from the last five years, providing an excellent opportunity to discuss how stock prices fall and rise.
