Greater LA School Partnerships
School Year | 2025–2026 📅 Enrollment Period: June 16 – August 15, 2025
About the PSV School Partnership
Private School Village (PSV) cultivates and harnesses the power of community to positively transform the private school experience for Black and Brown families so that students fully thrive. Through intentional collaboration with families and schools, PSV increases racial literacy, strengthens socialization, enhances representation, and supports research that centers the lived experiences of Black and Brown students and their families.

At PSV, we believe that diverse, inclusive environments—where all students are seen, supported, and empowered—yield stronger critical thinking, deeper empathy, and improved academic achievement for everyone. But diversity is not enough. While access to private schools opens the door, it is what happens after enrollment that determines whether a student thrives. Social-emotional wellness, culturally affirming practices, and a sustained sense of belonging are not add-ons—they are fundamental pillars of a truly transformative education.

In this context, PSV school partnerships are not symbolic—they are substantive. In an era marked by socio political uncertainty and mounting pressure on equity initiatives, partnering with PSV is a clear and public affirmation of your school’s commitment to meaningful, sustainable, and community-rooted progress. Our approach is grounded in shared values, mutual accountability, and a collective vision for what is possible when families and schools work in alignment.

To reinforce this commitment, the following partnership expectations for the 2025–2026 school year have been established. They are designed to support alignment, foster transparency, and promote measurable impact. PSV Partner Schools will also receive access to a real-time progress tracking dashboard, allowing for reflection and adjustment throughout the year and enabling us to document our collective growth.

Partnerships—at every level—are a critical part of ensuring that PSV remains strong, responsive, and rooted in the community, ready to meet the evolving needs of families today and sustain meaningful impact for years to come.
Greater LA Partnership Terms & Responsibilities
PSV will track our collective impact in a private, centralized space—used exclusively as a secure place for our growing network of school partners. The tracking tool, which is already used by many private schools, is a user-friendly, web-based platform that allows schools to track and reflect on progress through self-reported portfolios. Each school’s entries are visible only to designated school representatives and PSV, and never shared publicly or with other schools without permission.
School partnership bands (by enrollment) are not shifting much from last school year as long as schools renew or sign up before August 15. Prioritization was in creating more bands, particularly for lower enrollment, smaller budgeted schools. If there is still a hardship in meeting these rates, please reach out at psvadmin@privateschoolvillage.org.

By signing up, you agree to diligently support the PSV Partnership Terms & Responsibilities and our mission to support families so that students fully thrive. These terms are:

-
Designate Engaged School Contacts: Assign two key representatives: a senior administrator (ideally the person that deals most closely with your Black/Brown community in admissions, DEIJ, or the Head’s Office) and a Communications/Marketing lead to serve as liaisons with PSV. One representative for smaller schools – someone who directs school communications strategies or interfaces with Black/Brown families – is appropriate.
-
Attend Partner Orientations and Check-ins: Participate in one of two mandatory virtual orientations in August and a mid-year check-in in December.
-
Coordinate Optional Parent-Specific Orientation: If desired, help arrange a virtual orientation for Black and Brown parents in your school facilitated by PSV and your school’s parent representatives.
-
Support PSV’s Identity-Affirming Programming, Resources & Workshops: Support your (formal and informal) student and family affinity groups by helping build a shared resource base and sharing PSV Toolkits (e.g., Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Crown Kits). Use your school's direct communication channels to share PSV resources—like the Village Scholarship, mental health tools, and skill-building workshops—directly with Black and Brown families, and integrate these offerings into existing affinity space communications vehicles (e.g. emails, text message, social media, etc). Note: many partners co-brand these elements.
-
Participate in PSV Research: Engage in research efforts and gain early access to key findings. This includes opportunities to participate in our archival history partnership project and more.
-
Track Partnership Progress: Communicate with PSV via tools and designated response prompts. Meet with PSV leadership at year-end for a progress review and future planning.
